If you take the time to read the thread, you cannot update an iPhone 4 to anything above iOS 7.1.2. You can want all you want, however you will not be able to install/update, or anything at all to iOS 8. Nothing above iOS 7.1.2.

If you are indeed running iOS 8.0.2 as your tagline suggests, then it has to be an iPhone 4s, and it can update to iOS 8.4.
