What is unreal? That you replied to a 1-year old thread? Eventually iPhones will no longer support the latest iOS. Each of the older iPhones has a point at which it will no longer support upgrading of iOS due to the hardware limitations on the device. That is the case with the iPhone 4. Its last version of iOS to support was iOS 7.1.2. After that, the hardware would no longer support it. Everything since then will support the current iOS. At some point, the iPhone 4s will no longer support updates, and then others as the hardware no longer supports the updates. There is nothing really abnormal about that, especially since the iPhone 4 was introduced back in 2010, and there have been 5 more generations introduced since then.

It does permit upgrading of information to the latest

That is an iPhone 4. As explained in the previous posts in this thread, It CANNOT, be updated past iOS 7.1.2

No iOS 8 , or 9 or 10. It has reached the end of the line. no more updates for it.

Why are you posting this? That's an iPhone 4. The iPhone 4 CAN NOT RUN ANYTHING HIGHER THAN 7.1.2 as has been stated repeatedly.
