The 'Update Flash' error is not showing , instead the generic error "safari cannot open the page because it could not connect to the server" is flashing after turning off the wifi and restarting it.

It says exactly the web address of Google

I just rechecked.

On my MacBook it is opening just fine on Safari but showing 'Flash Update' message in Firefox..

What to do???

Here are a couple of things to try:

  • While on the Home screen double-press the HOME button. Find Safari and kill it by flicking its icon up
  • Go to Settings/Safari, scroll down and tap Clear history and website data
  • Go to Settings/General/Reset - Reset Network Settings (this has the side effect of erasing your WiFi passwords)

Now open Safari and try going to Google.
