Why won't iTunes Match work in iTunes 12.2.1?

Ever since the new Apple Music started, iTunes Match isn't an option for my to turn on my iTunes for Windows 8. It's listed on the store menu but I don't have the option to click on it. I was struggling with this last night with my wife's computer and now my computer. I tried importing a CD for my wife last night but couldn't turn Match on so it wasn't showing up in her library. This is what it looks like when I try to use Match with Apple Music.

This did not work for me. I emailed Apple. She said to hold option key and turn off Match and then back on again. However there is no Match to turn off. I did check the box in preferences for Match. After quite some time, as always, get same error unable to update at this time, error 4010. I've tried it from the account within iTunes store, to add this computer. Same thing happens. Match is working on my iPhone and my iMac. (however 7plus gigs of songs are just recently ineligible for Match). I've emailed Apple again. They will get back to me in a few days.

I still have the same problem. I called Apple just a week ago and they know (however not everybody there ...) the problem. They promised me that they're gonna fix it but I dont know how many days we have to wait more! At any case it makes no sense to change things at your own iTunes or match because the problem has to be fixed there (Apple).

in the meantime we have a not-working paid service!

Well guys try this on 12.1 or newer: iTunes menu -->Preferences-->General tab and tick off iCloud Music Library (your apple id should be here)

By ticking it off a new sub menu will show up under File-->Library-->Update iCloud Music Library. After you've clicked it look at the top right corner

of the iTunes window. You should see a spinning circle showing that it is uploading or comparing your songs with the ones in the Cloud.

It just works as Steve used to say 🙂

Cheers,

Martin

EDIT > PREFERENCE and then checking "iCloud Music Library' worked, my cloud music appeared. However, unchecking it doesn't make it go away, so that's bothersome. Logging out of my account/store does make it go away though, but then if I log back in, it shows up again, even though "iCloud Music Library" is unchecked. I also noted if you click your username and on the dropdown select ACCOUNT INFO, there's a "To share this music library..." option that I'm not sure used to exist. So for some of you, maybe make sure that's enabled.
