Apple music volume too low = deal breaker

iPhone 5 - iOS8.4

I've read all the posts out there about volume limit and volume check and that is not the issue. The issue is that Apple music just doesn't play at the equivalent (normal) volume of any other service or input device in the car, my home theater system, my portable speaker, etc.

I'm an Apple fan but this is a deal breaker... It *****... I love the service. The radio algorithms and music selection are top notch, but there are other music services that play at a much louder, more crisp sounding level. I hope Apple does something about this.

Anyone else feel this way?

The issue is also present on 6+, iOS9 latest beta.Using the equalizer lowers the Apple Music volume by an unacceptable amount on some settings.

I can't imagine this is intended behaviour as IMO it makes a competing product sound much better but if it is Apple should at least warn you about it so you don't have to come looking for a solution to a problem here 😉.

The streaming music Apple plays is slightly lower in volume compared to everything else. But it's when even that volume is extremely low. Even with iOS 9.0.2 I had music playing through Bluetooth and opened FACEBOOK and had a notification and immediately the volume dropped. force quit Facebook and volume came back. I have to disable notifications for Facebook
