Apple music in iTunes not working on imac

This morning my iMac is refusing to play any streamed music from Apple Music. Its not a network issue in that Beats plays fine as do sample tracks from the store, iPlayer youtube etc all work fine.


If I got into a playlist or album in Apple Music everything displays fine. Then when I go to play a track nothing plays, it just skips to the next song and the next and next. Everything else works fine. It also works on my iPad and iPhone on the same network...


Any suggestions?

It seems to be an issue not effecting US customers. Yes, the issue is with the new iTunes version. I have manual updates setup and as soon as I updated to iTunes 12.2.1.16, the issue only occurred after that.


If you guys are able to `downgrade` your iTunes, this may fix the issue.


Jazzfather, don't update the itunes/apple music on you iOS device as others are reporting problems with iOS too. Perhaps the reason you're experiencing the problem exclusively on OS X is because you didn't update iOS.
