Apple music in iTunes not working on imac

This morning my iMac is refusing to play any streamed music from Apple Music. Its not a network issue in that Beats plays fine as do sample tracks from the store, iPlayer youtube etc all work fine.

If I got into a playlist or album in Apple Music everything displays fine. Then when I go to play a track nothing plays, it just skips to the next song and the next and next. Everything else works fine. It also works on my iPad and iPhone on the same network...

Any suggestions?

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

I have the same issue this morning. When I tried to make a track offline it comes back saying there is an unknown error (400). Seems like iTunes can't access the content. My iPhone is working fine.

I am also having this exact same problem, exactly as you describe. I hope Apple can solve this soon. 😟

I have been on the phone to apple support and they seem unable to solve the problem at present. Its obviously not a service issue as its up and running for other devices. Did it stop for you today too Craig?

It's certainly something cloud based, because both my MBP and iMac have the exact same issue when trying this morning.

it hasn't worked for me since yesterday.

Whenever i selected a song, album or playlist, its skips all the songs in a loop!

I'm getting the same error 400 on my MBA and iPhone and haven't updated either, must be a server problem??

I have been on the phone for a few hours with Apple support today and tried lots of different things. During that time the support centre started to get similar issues from others so it sounds like a waiting game until they get this fixed.... Its being reported to engineers now so hopefully wont be like this for long.

Patiences of a saint.. fingers cross they have this fixed soon it doesn't do well for confidence in the product. I'll have to default to using my iPhone to get my music fix until they figure it out.

Yep, same here. Started today, been on chat with Apple and he says all systems at their end are green. Will escalate to their technical.

Glad i'm not the only one having this issue. Thought something was wrong with my MBP, been driving me crazy all day 😠
Lets hope they have it sorted soon.
