Apple music in iTunes not working on imac

This morning my iMac is refusing to play any streamed music from Apple Music. Its not a network issue in that Beats plays fine as do sample tracks from the store, iPlayer youtube etc all work fine.


If I got into a playlist or album in Apple Music everything displays fine. Then when I go to play a track nothing plays, it just skips to the next song and the next and next. Everything else works fine. It also works on my iPad and iPhone on the same network...


Any suggestions?

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

I've just done an IP trace to origin here, Interestingly enough 199.85.127.10 points to Apple's HQ, which means they are telling us too use their DNS servers, I presume these servers are somewhat in the same network as the ones which host Music.

This could signify an issue with their public DNS records? Hence why we can't connect using either ISP's DNS or Google's DNS... Hmm. Just a thought but hey, worked for me! Apple, give CloudFlare DNS a try, might work a little better than your system 😉
