When I use sudo command, some differences here:

Type from one to three GPT partition numbers, separated by spaces, to be

added to the hybrid MBR, in sequence: 2 3 4

Place EFI GPT (0xEE) partition first in MBR (good for GRUB)? (Y/N): Y

Creating entry for GPT partition #2 (MBR partition #2)

Enter an MBR hex code (default AF):

Set the bootable flag? (Y/N):

Your option? (Y/N): Y

Creating entry for GPT partition #3 (MBR partition #3)

Enter an MBR hex code (default AB):

Set the bootable flag? (Y/N):

Your option? (Y/N): Y

GPT partition #4 does not exist or is too big; skipping.

Unused partition space(s) found. Use one to protect more partitions? (Y/N):

Your option? (Y/N): Y

Note: Default is 0xEE, but this may confuse Mac OS X.

After reboot, BCA:

Your NVRAM variables are confusing BCA. Please run the following two procedures and try again. Do not interrupt the BCA booting with Alt/Option. Select only the Install Windows option and wait till you get to teh partition selection screen.

How to Reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

Jul 21, 2015 8:50 AM in response to littledragon294

You do not have a BC/Windows partition yet, hence you do not have a valid MBR.

1. Please boot in Safe Mode - Try safe mode if your Mac doesn't finish starting up - Apple Support and then boot normally and test BCA partition creation.

2. If that does not work, please try Using Disk Utility to verify or repair disks - Apple Support and try BCA.

3. If that does not work, please try Resolve startup issues and perform disk maintenance with Disk Utility and fsck - Apple Support and try BCA partitioning.

4. This is the last option -

a. Back up OSX using Time Machine - Mac Basics: Time Machine backs up your Mac - Apple Support.

b. Boot into Internet Recovery - OS X: About OS X Recovery - Apple Support.

c. Erase your internal drive and restore from the TM backup in Step 1 - OS X Yosemite: Recover your entire system.

You are doing Resolve startup issues and perform disk maintenance with Disk Utility and fsck - Apple Support .

Boot into Internet Recovery using Command+Opt+R after you power up the Mac (you need to see a spinning globe). Please use a wired connection.

In Utilities -> Terminal in Recovery Console run the steps in section Use fsck if necessary on disk0 - your internal disk.

These steps are different than others. We need to use all defaults supplied by Gdisk.

Rebuild MBR to match the new GPT information thus resetting the Hybrid MBR. Use defaults for other questions (like partition codes). The only values that need modifications are the Boot flags and step 10. Accept all other defaults that Gdisk offers. Please see thesample Q&A as an example. These steps can be repeated if you make a mistake before you get to Step 12, otherwise start from Step 1 for these steps. Step 6 has numbers which are typed with a space between the numbers.

  1. Sudo gdisk /dev/rdisk0
  2. P (Print list of parts)
  3. R (Recover)
  4. O (print current Hybrid MBR)
  5. H (chooses Hybrid)
  6. Partitions numbers to be hybridized: 2 3 4
  7. Please see the sample Q&A.
  8. O (print current Hybrid MBR)
  9. W (Write the new MBR)
  10. Y (Yes! write the new MBR)
  11. Reboot

Here is sample Q&A for this section. Please notice the Press Enter/Return.

Place EFI GPT (0xEE) partition first in MBR (good for GRUB)? (Y/N): Y

Creating entry for GPT partition #2 (MBR partition #2)

Enter an MBR hex code (default AF): Press Enter/Return

Set the bootable flag? (Y/N): Press Enter/Return

Creating entry for GPT partition #3 (MBR partition #3)

Enter an MBR hex code (default AB): Press Enter/Return

Set the bootable flag? (Y/N): Press Enter/Return

Creating entry for GPT partition #4 (MBR partition #4)

Enter an MBR hex code (default 07): Press Enter/Return

Set the bootable flag? (Y/N): Press Enter/Return

On your Mac, BCA will only choose BIOS, unless you interrupt the flow and use Alt/Option key to make changes. If you get a GPT/MBR error, it can be easily fixed. Do not use Alt/Option key once BCA starts the reboot, till you get to the Partition selection screen for the designated Windows partition. You will need to format the BC partition only. Do not choose or select any other partition, otherwise you will lose data.

Here is an example. In the example I 'q'uit, instead of 'w', 'y'.

Warning: Devices opened with shared lock will not have their

partition table automatically reloaded!

No. Do not remove EFI partition. If Step 1 did not work, try Step 2.
