I received an error message in Photos : Photos with unavailable original files cannot be opened. I need to locate the original again but they were uploaded in Photos... I don't have them separately on a hard-drive! I was simply trying to edit the photo's in an Album
What is going on here?
Photos is really a big step back for me as Photographer with 100k + photos in its library!

No, it was all downloaded (took almost a week) and those albums where I have problems now, are only recently uploaded so not downloaded from Icloud
Browsing through this.. I don't see the originals of the albums indeed.
I only see those where I don't have a problem.
Does it mean I did not important them fully? But as referenced?
I do have this setting checked indeed.
and I uploaded it simply from the files on the hard drive... They were exported from another library I think of Photos..
So I can see the photos still in Photos but there is nothing I can do with them? Not exporting or ...
