Icloud on windows 10 with Outlook 2013 working?

I had exactly the same problem in Windows 10.

I have now managed to uninstall iCloud using the Microsoft Fixit after a couple of goes but despite downloading a new version after reinstalling, it tells me that it has not been installed properly. Nothing seems to be able to fix this.

It's a pain.

I did a clean install from scratch of Windows 10 and Outlook 2013 and now Outlook 2016 is not compatible w/iCloud. My initial fix was to leave iCloud disabled in Outlook and then turn it on to sync. Then I would disable it, otherwise Outlook would hang on startup.

Now that I upgraded to Office 2016, iCloud will not even connect to Outlook, despite it recommending a repair.

Apple certainly had enough time to test iCloud with Office 2013/2016 and Windows 10. They would be the first one to complain if Microsoft ignored the Mac for Office 2016.

Does anyone know when Apple is expected to release an upgrade to iCloud that will work with Windows 10 and Offiice (2010, 2013 & 2016)? All my contacts are in iCloud.

I thought I had iCloud working with my Outlook earlier but now realize that the iCloud add-in is disabled. If I re-enable this addin then Outlook seems to lock up again. Then.... I stumbled onto the fact that whenever I had my Kaspersky anti-virus addin activated in Outlook it would cause iCloud to fail. If I disable the Kaspersky anti-virus, then iCloud works fine for me in Outlook. I love technology when it works.... Hate it when is doesn't!!! lol

Please tell me if your Office 2013 is 32 or 64 bit? I am about to uninstall Office 365 (2016) and reinstall Office 2013. I suspect that office 2013 64 bit may be a problem with iCloud where Office 2013 32 bit may not. Microsoft recommends the 32 bit even on 64 bit machines because of some functionality differences. I am not sure what those are but I am reasonably convinced that the 32 bit will work.

I don't use Kaspersky by use Norton Security Suite. It never conflicted with Office 2013. You may find that in Kaspersky you can set and inclusion for or open a Firewall that supports the Office 2013 or Outlook 2013 that allows the Kaspersky to still scan your incoming email.

Worked for me too. Seems to be important that when the re-installed icloud is started to set up again the links to Outlook. I now have again calendars and contacts, without which Outlook is useless. Thanks daniellgilbert.
