Itunes 12.2.1.16 The song titles disappear when selecting tracks in Artist or Album view and only return if you right click and uncheck selections????

Just upgraded a few days ago to 12.2.1.16. I have been having a lot of problems.

If I highlight an album by clicking on it, then right click and select the "Check Selection" option, album track titles will begin to disappear as I select individual tracks within the album. The only way the track titles will return is to right click on the album art and select "Uncheck Selection" and all the track titles return.

Another problem is the order in which artist names are sorting in "Artist View". Artist with the same first name are sorted incorrectly by first name only, so the order they appear in the column on the left is not correct [example: John Mayall, then John Coltrane, then John Lennon, then John Fogerty...etc.]. If you switch to Album View, the sorting is correct.

Oh yeah, I need to mention ITunes keeps locking up. If I select an album, then right click on "Get Info" and make a change and click "OK" ITunes will lock up and "Task Manager" will show that ITunes is "Not Responding" I have been working with Apple Tech Support and have tried a fresh re-install but this does not fix my issues.

My computer is a new [4 days old] 4th gen Intel I5 based system running an Asus 97 - Pro motherboard with 16gb of ram. The O.S. is Windows 8.1.

I submitted the bug report but was discouraged that the thank you message said they will not be responding. Our hard earned dollars at work it seems. Even Microsoft offers chat at least with technicians. Oh well, I hope they fix it but I'll never know because I will not receive an email stating they are aware of the issue and are working on it.

My experience: You can notice that if the album picture is most white, the names didnt dissapear. So its the color scheme and after i read the post, i did what DyreLogan say. When I uncheck the "scheme color for albums" and CLOSE/OPEN the itunes, the names didnt dissapear. But if I change anything of one file, or incluide a new one, all the album (but only that album) has the dissapear problem until a new close/open of itunes.

The checked box to uncheck are in ALT, Edition, Preferences, General

I am having the same issue. Very strange. This is a brand new install of Win10 (not an upgrade) with, of course, a fresh install of ITunes. My video card is an AMD Radeon HD 6K with latest drivers so I cant imagine that is the issue. I dont even want to get into how ITunes has butchered my library over a number of recent updates, breaking albums apart or merging them together... having to manually rework the tags to fix those issues. It is quite obvious that Apple likes to develop in their own vacuum "ecosystem" to maintain quality within that vacuum, and I get it, but that is part of why I like their products less an less as time goes on...
