Windows 10 boot camp 6 trackpad issues can't click and drag

I know this is an old thread, but I haven't anyone else with this issue. I'm currently experiencing the same thing.

Did you ever find a solution?

Can you check the currently installed HID devices in Device Manager? Also check Control Panel -> System -> Bootcamp and look at the available tabs - are there any missing tabs? You should at least have trackpad and keyboard. You may have additional ones.

I have the same problem and it is driving me crazy. I also have lots of other problems with my trackpad under bootcamp. Finger often glides across trackpad and cursor won't move at all. Sometimes very difficult to select something exactly. I've almost decided to sell the macbook and go back to a windows machine it is so bad. I'll try some of the suggestions I find here.

I have a similar issue, although slightly different... I used to be able to happily click and drag by clicking and holding down in the bottom left with one finger on my left hand, whilst dragging with one finger on my right hand... but since updating bootcamp drivers to the latest version, it ALWAYS stops dragging and performs a right-click halfway through.

For instance I drag a window from the left to the right, but 7 times out of 10 it will stop dragging en-route and perform a right click. no matter HOW still I keep my left finger pressed and held.

Wish I could revert back to the old bootcamp drivers.

Yes this is driving me crazy too. Does anyone know of a fix out there?

Nothing to do with this. Clicking in bottom left corner allows the other finger to drag as normal as someone pointed out.

I have this problem too on my new MacBook Pro 2016. Click and drag only works if you press in the bottom left of the trackpad. What gives?

go into control pannel and search for bootcamp and then you can change the setting too your liking
