i can't update nor downloading apps in app store

The problem wasn't app specific.

Fascinating maybe, pain in the arse definitely. I re sent a feedback note. So I hope they are awake.

It is definitely a Server side issue, due to a local code bug in 8.4.1, either a problem concerning user authentication, (DNS settings between servers) or a local bug in the way data is sent to and from the iCloud identify check server. Or some other form of black magic.

That would be why a sign out/reboot/sign in to iCloud saves it for a few minutes and then the problem comes back. (program fork error?)

Whatever, it did not occur after 8.4.1 update, but just over the past week. My iPad mini on OS 8.4 is fine. So definitely a code problem in the last updates (I have seen the same from people on this forum with the latest 7. whatever as well.)

And; there is an IOS update in the works (9th September?) and they are probably tweaking the servers in general for the new functions, or announcement or other fun.

Same issue here

ipad 4 with 8.4.1 (latest update) I can open the AppStore, I can search see all the apps... But if I try to install, or re-download a previously purchased app, I get a spinning ring, no error, no message, just a spinning ring (also no play or pause icon inside that ring). I can tap that ring and it goes lighter, but no change.

Also no grey icon / download in progress / appears on my home screen.

i tried shut down & start as well as soft restart , also logging out of and back into icloud as well as itunes&appstore and I did reset my network settings. No change.

my iPhone 5S same account same settings, same wifi, works perfectly fine right next to it...

Also my iPhone works in the same wifi network, so I can rule out any router or connection problem really.

i Just tried something funny, I went to settings and logged out of the AppStore and iTunes Store. The I went back to the AppStore and tried downloading a free app. Same result, BUT I was never even asked for my Apple ID... so to me it looks like indeed the AppStore has problems even connecting to the server for authentication or to properly run that part of the software... It hangs BEFORE it even starts the process.

Despite that I can search the AppStore and all the images and app info etc... is there
