Bootcamp Assistant not working for Windows 10

I picked up my new macbook pro this morning (13 inch 256GB), and I've been trying to dual boot it with Windows 10. I've downloaded the ISO from Microsoft and formatted my USB stick to FAT. However, I keep getting errors in the bootcamp assistant. It either gets stuck while downloading the Windows Support files or says the Windows Support files could not be saved to the selected drive.

Any help?

Alright, I tried downloading the support software through BCA again and it still hangs. After looking at activity monitor, it seems like BCA doesn't even download anything.

However, if I stop the download when it is stuck, reopen BCA, and try to download the support software again, the download seems to go by in just a few seconds but then I get the error message: The Windows support software could not be saved to the selected drive.
