Since updating to 8.4.0 and then 8.4.1 apps from the app store take FOREVER to download over wifi. They work just fine downloading with the cellular network, but this eats up data. Help.

Same thing is happening with Apple Music. With wifi the music doesn't play continuously, it stops and starts. With cellular it play as it should.
I Tried to insert a new DNS IP which is 8.8.8.8 ,,, and it worked with me ( 6 plus & 5S ) now I can use my wifi as usual
I Use my another smarphone for hotspots (4g), when i browser, streaming and etc its fast!! But when i downloadd app from AppStore its so so so slowly.. I try all that people coment but all not work, i use iPhone 4S and ios 9.2.1

i am also having the same issue.... very slow app store downloads on mac as well as on iphone 6. i am on a 50mbps connection rest everything is fine. tried changing the dns address but no change. did ur problem get solved or not?
if u using iphone, go to wifi then change dns to 8.8.4.4 it must be work, but need time about 20, its work for my i4s
I'm still using iOS 7.1.2 (iPhone 4) and I was already using OpenDNS' servers. I have the exact same issue.
