Windows 10 thunderbolt display not working

I had upgraded my late 2013 MacBook Pro to Windows 10. The Bluetooth driver didn't work, but just about everything else did. I just updated Boot Camp and now my Thunderbolt display is not recognized by Windows. I've reinstalled the Boot Camp 6 update, rebooted, etc. No joy. Anyone encountered / solved this issue?

I'm having a similar issue. I just upgraded from 8.1 to 10 in bootcamp. My Mac is this exact model with both the Intel and NVIDIA graphics cards: http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook_pro/specs/macbook-pro-core-i7-2.5- 15-dual-graphics-mid-2014-retina-display… My display is an LG ultrawide screen. I'm using a thunderbolt to thunderbolt cable to connect the laptop to the monitor. Works fine on the Mac side. Doesn't work on the Windows side. I don't have any other thunderbolt devices to test the thunderbolt connection on the Windows side. However, I do have an external hard drive plugged into the USB port on the monitor. I think the computer is detecting it as I was able to eject it from the "Safely remove..." thing in the task bar, though I wasn't able to see it under devices and drives in the File Explorer. I have driver 353.62 for the NVIDIA card installed. I tried installing what I believe is the correct Intel driver too since it has both cards, but it said I didn't meet the system requirements. It was this driver: win64_15407.4279.exe from this site: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25274/Intel-Iris-Iris-Pro-and-HD-Graph ics-Production-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-1-… . Any thoughts on what's going on? I hope I provided enough info.

I had the exact same problem on a macbook pro retina late 2012

After installing bootcamp 6 on windows 10 the thunderbolt display stays black at first boot / power up.

After reboot the Display worked as expected, but did not want to constantly reboot after first startup.

After enabling fast startup in the control panel / power options everything works as expected.

What fixes this for me is rebooting while holding down <P R Command Option> a couple of times. A common fix for many Mac related issues. If that doesn't work then do is again, boot to OSX and in the login screen chose reboot. Then on booting hold down the option key until presented with boot options and then chose to boot windows.

Same problem: Latest (anniversary) update for Win 10 (Oct 16) has meant that the only way I can get my two external monitors working, is to start once, then RE-START. This seems to work.

Running an iMac, with two external monitors using Mini Display (Thunderbolt) to DVI.

Seems like a bootcamp upgrade might be necessary? Or perhaps my cheap cables are the problem (I recall having this issue years ago with cheap cables).

Super annoying, thanks for any help.
