I actually think the problem may be fixed now but I haven't had the time to test it completely. As of last Friday...exactly 7 weeks since I realized I had the problem and called for support, after a marathon call with Apple, I suggested trying to put Find my Phone back on. During the time of trying everything, my password was changed again by the engineers so I didn't change everything because it was "temporary". The support people were confused as to why my devices would not synch. By this time, the engineers had released the lock on my Calendar but with 4 devices...2 phones, and iPad, Outlook plus the Cloud site, some things started to synch while others did not. This was a continual mess with many hours spent testing and comparing...I even set up a spread sheet to keep track of what worked and of course...what did NOT work. I had hoped that this would tell the support people something to help to fix the problems. No one seems to know why it wasn't working but resetting the Find My Phone on one of my devices seemed to kick it out of the funk. The only thing that I know the engineers did was to give me more space for my calendars. During the 7 weeks, once I was able to access my calendar, I deleted many back calendars and worked very hard to get organized so I can now begin the process of eliminating duplicates that are a few thousand more than when I started. Be very careful to not merge if you can copy what you need to save in advance. That avoided additional merges. Once the duplicates are there, it is an individual process to eliminate them. I am still working on eliminating duplicates from a year ago when I could not add more contacts. I found out then, it was the notes I kept in the contacts. I had plenty of storage space...I even purchased more but the note section in each contact duplicated and triplicated last year when I was working with another support person.

This has been an exhausting process and it isn't over yet but I think I can add contacts and events in my calendar and they will now go to all my devices. Watch after making any changes since some settings do not go back to where you wanted them to be. I kept auto Backup off but when I signed in and out as directed to do, the auto backup went back on. As my phone was dying, I plugged it in and backed up an empty calendar...not my plan. The calendars seem to recreate themselves so I had to delete them on all devices as they kept turning up. Many duplication...I have 4 or 5 BIRTHDAY folders although only one is checked. That is only on one device...the rest have only one. Just check everything ever time you sign out and sign back in.

I hope this helps you to get working again. I did all my backups plus a private backup but once my calendar was wiped out, my backup ended up blank as well...If I had been told to shut something off to prevent that, maybe it would not have occurred but this has not been fun at all. Now, I am trying to work on my Real Estate business and along the way I will try to clean up the mess I am left with. At least I can stop keeping a paper calendar now and I know when I need to be at an appointment again. If you want a really good and patient support person, I found him but even he was confused as to why this was happening. It would be nice to know why it happened but I know what started the mess. I was forced to change my password once I paid a bill with an updated credit card and that was on September 5th...a long time ago. I wish you all well.

My iCloud started crashing on notes about 10 weeks ago. I've been talking to a senior adviser weekly capturing screen reports each week from my machine. The senior supervisor has already confirmed that this problem is on the iCloud as it occurs on all my second computer and hers too.

Apparently we are waiting for the iCloud team in America to deal with the issue.
Like most Apple users I have built my whole business around sharing iCloud information on static iMac, mobile Macbook, iPhone, iPad etc. This iCloud manages my whole personal and business appointments and contacts. It is totally unacceptable that this problem hasn't been resolved by now!

I was advised by a different supervisor to open a new iCloud account. I spent many hours carefully download and saving what data I could, converting the information into plain text because I thought it would avoid any gremlin's. With in two weeks this new account developed the "iCloud is under maintanence" on my calendar and reminders.

It is very nice to hear a supervisor read back the script that they fully understand my problem and will certainly help resolve my issue, but they keep saying its now down to the iCloud team in America to find the fault!!!!!!

Don't know what to do, can't wait or waste any more time on these issues. I guess I'll have to start writing everything down or go back to Outlook!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had this problem since mid-October. One day, out of the blue, I was unable to access the I Cloud calendar on my PC, which is my only computer, but it was syncing on my I phone 5s and my I Pad II. I just let it be, as I figured eventually the engineers would figure it out. One of the senior advisors said it might be addressed during an update of I Cloud Control panel. The last one was in December, and nothing changed after the installation.

When I recently decided to upgrade my I Pad to iOS 9.2 to get it to work faster (I hoped), sadly my calendar, which was fine before the upgrade, didn't load despite many attempts. The Contacts and Notes loaded without any problem.

Now I have a working calendar only on my I phone 5s. I don't want to lose it, as it goes back many years. I am working with a senior advisor and the engineers and my account is in "troubleshooting mode" to try to fix the problem, so I am crossing my fingers!! User uploaded file
