Bootcamp Will Not Mount on Disk Utlity

Hello!

So I've been trying to figure out how to fix this error for the last hour, and nothing seems to be working.

User uploaded file
I've looked at other places online and most recommended to delete the Paragon NTFS driver. I deleted it, along with the two remaining extensions fusefs.fs & prlufs.fs from the system folder.

When I checked the log to see what happened it tells me this:

Aug 26 13:01:18 [Mac] Disk Utility[754]: Mount of disk0s4 blocked by dissenter PID=0 (unknown) status=0x0000c047 log=unknown message=(null)

Basically, I'm trying to get this mounted so I can make a copy of the partition using Winclone.

Any bits of info helps! Thank you!

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), Bootcamp

I'm back! And tell me about it... An hour to find parking is ridiculous! And what else is ridiculous?

Nothing has changed. Still won't load, still gives me the errors, and still says MacFUSE is sitting on my computer like a flea in a dog's fur.

What should I do now?

And I also want to say thank you so much for helping me though this. I greatly appreciate it!

I see that Parallels is still lingering around, as well as Seagate. I found the fleas! It appears theres some leftovers files and extensions. Should I delete them? What would you recommend?

Sep 5, 2015 12:25 AM in response to CrlsThHdghg

There is a OS X Terminal command called lsof (list open files), which can be used to find out who has the file system open. There is another command called fuser. Let us start with fuser. If your Bootcamp volume is called BOOTCAMP and is mounted at /Volumes/BOOTCAMP, see the highlighted commands...

df -h

Filesystem Size Used Avail Capacity iused ifree %iused Mounted on

/dev/disk1 118Gi 78Gi 40Gi 67% 20423444 10441766 66% /

fuser /Volumes/BOOTCAMP/

/Volumes/BOOTCAMP/:

fuser -u /Volumes/BOOTCAMP/

/Volumes/BOOTCAMP/:

Since /dev/disk1 is mounted in my case, the fuser command shows

mount -v

devfs on /dev (devfs, local, nobrowse)

map -hosts on /net (autofs, nosuid, automounted, nobrowse)

map auto_home on /home (autofs, automounted, nobrowse)

Sep 5, 2015 12:24 AM in response to Loner T

LonerT! I have amazing news for you! I finally got it to load! The issue was that there was a file named "ufsd.fs" that needed to get deleted.

After I got rid of it and deleted the file, BAM. Bootcamp is sitting there all nice and pretty. :3

Here's the link! http://kb.paragon-software.com/paragon/include/templ/object2.jsp?catId=-1&objId= 6879&statId=2588275&foLang=en

And I inputed all of the code you gave me, AND BAM, works, too!

User uploaded file

However... MacFUSE still sits somewhere in my computer...

User uploaded file

If you know how I can find these two so I can get rid of everything regarding MacFUSE, that would be the best! Seriously, that stuff caused me more problems than anything I've ever experienced!

Sep 5, 2015 12:51 AM in response to CrlsThHdghg

So I found ANOTHER website that stated where those last few MacFUSE bits were hiding. They were under

/var/db/receipts/com.google.macfuse.core.bom

So, I went ahead and got rid of that and the com.parallels.prlufs.core.macfuseCore.MacFUSECore.pkg file, too.

User uploaded file

But I see that the uninstaller for Parallels didn't properly do their job, because I found a bunch of com.parallels files.

User uploaded file

Should I delete those or leave them be?

Oh, and yeah, if you could let me know what that "localhost:/pt-e5swi-dCmQwNNksowyt 371Gi 371Gi 0Bi 100% 0 0 100% /Volumes/MobileBackups" is, let me know! Thank you!

Sep 5, 2015 7:04 AM in response to CrlsThHdghg

/Volume/MobileBackups is fine. It backups your mobile devices if you have iTunes on the Mac to backup any connected iOS mobile devices.

This may be an option, but it is very time consuming and painful. You can backup OS X, erase the OS X partition only (not the entire disk), install a clean copy of OS X without any applications and test. If it works, restore specific applications as you need, from the backup.
