Health and Activity data not syncing

I've had my Apple Watch for about 24 hours and cannot get the Activity and Health data from my Apple Watch to sync with my iphone

The activity app just says "... To start using the app on your iPhone, first set up activity on your Apple Watch", which I have done... its not showing up as a source in the Health app on the iPhone... and whenever I enter data (birthday, gender, height and weight) in the Apple Watch App on my iPhone it doesn't save, it just goes back to "Not Set" whenever I exit the screen and come back.

I've tried soft resets and hard rests (of both devices), trying to change Progress... I don't really know what else to do

Anyone else had this problem or have any ideas??

The solution I proposed (unfair and pair again - will setup the watch as new device but the historical activity is stored on the iPhone and I did not see any loss of historical data, except for the couple of days where I was having this problem and the health data was not transmitting from watch to iPhone.

BTW: The root cause of this problem is the privacy of health data which is not supposed to be stored by Apple, and the sync of this information works different than other type of data.

Same problem here. I downgraded my 6s from a problematic (that's an understatement) 9.1 back to 9.0.2 and, in the process, lost all my activity and health data from day one of owning the Apple Watch and, to add insult to injury, there is no communication between the Activity app on the Watch and my iPhone. Whatever activity I accomplished today doesn't show up on the iPhone and it, of course, gets replaced on the Apple Watch by the next day's activity.

On top of that, the Apple Watch app doesn't remember my height/weight info. As soon as I enter it in the Health portion of the Apple Watch app and then back out of that screen and then back into it, it tells me that none of that info has bee set yet.

I refuse to do another wipe and restore. That's all I've been doing since Friday night to try and get my phone back to functioning properly after the cluster-f that is iOS 9.1.

By the way, I've tried setting the Apple Watch up as "new" as well as from a backup, with no luck in either scenario.

Same problem here with a 6s. Was working fine but my phone completely died and apple gave me a new one. Now the 6s doesn't log any motion data at all. Could the motion processor be bad? The Apple Watch doesn't sync at all with the phone and the health and activity apps are blank. Any entering of age, sex, weight, etc doesn't save. I can't even turn on heart rate to show up in dashboard.

Did 3 phone wipes and iCloud backups and 2 watch unpair and repair. Didn't solve anything. (And I lost all my text messages history that didn't come back from the icloud backup.

The 6s is by far the worst and most buggy iPhone I've ever had. I really just want my 5s back! Everything worked!

Thanks or any help!!!
