outgoing call waiting

Hi everybody

i wonder why we can not find the Outgoing Call Waiting Notification Feature in all iPhone Products

i know a lot of people changing from Symbian to BB to Android and barely to iPhone complaining of not finding this small feature

it is a hardware feature not software

for example all HTC on android doesn't have it but all nokia samsung and sony ...etc have it

you can not imagine how many people asking about this small feature

can not any body contact the support for adding this small feature

How come all this progress and technology and 90's feature is not available in your phone

iPhone 6, iOS 8.4.1

Thanks for reply but allow me to define this primitive feature

It provide you the availability to know if the person you are calling is in another call or not , to not to insist on calling and wait for him to finish his call

it is a small notification come back to you once you call someone he is already in a call

it is in all phone except HTC and iPhone

No, it's not. In fact, it's extremely uncommon in the U.S. I've never had it on any phone I've had (HTC, LG, Motorola, Blackberry, Apple). In the U.S., some carriers will notify you by an extra tone at the end of a ring that someone is on a call rather than ignoring you. I don't know how it works in other countries but in the U.S., cell phones only ring about 5 or 6 times before going to voicemail.

Personally, I've never understood why this matters. If the person is able or interested in taking your call, they will. If not, they won't. Knowing whether the line was already engaged doesn't change that.

Dear Sir

it does exist in LG and Motorola ,Nokia,Samsung,Sony .....

so without defending opinions it is a small type of technology that may be you are not interested in but others may do

For example I don't need voicemail , but you do

it is a matter of customer needs not related to their behavior

For Example:

Some Phones give a vibration as soon as the the person take your call that give you the opportunity to monitor a thing or even not to hold your hand on your ear till the other person answers

it is a good feature but apple doesn't support

Thanks

You're making a lot of assumptions based on incomplete or no data: that I'm a man (I'm not), that I need voice mail (I never use it) and that all phones except iPhones and HTC phones have this feature (they don't). While it may exist on some of those phones, my point was, it does NOT exist on all of them. I've had phones by every one of those manufacturers and not a one of them has had the feature to which you are referring.

I can not imagine the offensive replies here 🙂

iPhone is the best phone ever

but there are a lot of missing Features by the ONE you are referring to they can add these features to it

1- No Pause in capturing Videos

2- No outgoing call waiting Notification

3- No Vibration in answer

I don't think it is a crime to ask for a feature that i miss and does exist in other phones

You have not had every phone made by those manufacturers. Are you suggesting that I'm lying when I say that NO Motorola, LG, HTC, Microsoft, Palm, Blackberry phone that i've ever had has had that feature? That's a bit rude of you. I'm not denying that those manufacturers do make some models with that feature. BUT they also make some without it.

If you are offended by people disagreeing with you, you may want to consider avoiding the internet.

No one cares one way or another if you want certain features. I certainly have not given any indication that it's wrong for you to want it. What's wrong is that you continue to make unfounded assumptions.

Request such a feature here:

Yes, some of the phones by those manufactures have that feature. Some do NOT. I'm not sure why that's so hard to understand.

that is what i am talking about , it is an old ancient feature if it does exist in a product it does exist since its 1st Model till the present

it is by the way hard component like (IC) or something , because in some android appears (Samsung,Sony,LG) and some not (HTC)

in some windows appear (Nokia) and some Not (HTC)

i have tried all sony's for example , all samsung , ...etc

No, you have apparently not used the Samsungs released in the U.S. The models I have used do NOT have this feature. I give up. You refuse to believe that anyone else could have an experience that is different than yours. The limits of your experience do not define the experiences of everyone else. Believe what you like, even if it's wrong.
