outgoing call waiting

Hi everybody

i wonder why we can not find the Outgoing Call Waiting Notification Feature in all iPhone Products

i know a lot of people changing from Symbian to BB to Android and barely to iPhone complaining of not finding this small feature

it is a hardware feature not software

for example all HTC on android doesn't have it but all nokia samsung and sony ...etc have it

you can not imagine how many people asking about this small feature

can not any body contact the support for adding this small feature

How come all this progress and technology and 90's feature is not available in your phone

iPhone 6, iOS 8.4.1

I totally agree with you that anyone else could have an experience that is different than me

That is y i said all the phones (I) experience or used in the country i live in and the shared experience between friends gets the same result

No for sure, but it is a good feature to not to bother the receiver with the waiting tone of my calling Because i don't know that he is talking..

so from the 1st second i can know he is on some other call and i cancel mine, till he is free to call back or whatever

What if he just doesn't want to talk to you?

Although you know that this is not the correct place to make product suggestions you just keep doing that, certainly if you called me and I, knowing how you are decided it would be better not to talk to you there would be no tone to warn you of anything, so you'd just keep on calling?

It would be perfect to know that , If he politely cannot say that clearly to me , it would be perfect to save time understanding this

rather than keep calling him ...
For example without this feature i may call after hours suggesting he was a sleep or far from phone

but with this feature i would make sure he is awake and he just didn't like to talk to me and i will respect that , from just 1 call i would not bother him any more

Actually the people i have on my contact far away from hypocrisy , if they really doesn't want to answer me any more they will politely notify me with that..

so that is why i am also searching for not bothering them with calls..
I hope i had people that i can feed their sadist watching me ringing and don't answer ... i bet they will not be clear of their relationship with me .. thinking that is not my business

The polite thing to do would be to leave a message if they don't answer, then they can decide whether they want to call you back.

In the U.S., it is not considered rude to simply not answer a phone. It's not "sadistic". There is no cultural requirement that I tell someone I'm not answering the phone. The fact that I do not answer the phone serves as notification that I do not want to talk or am unable to do so. It is no one's business why I don't answer the phone. I would find the feature your describing an invasion of my privacy.

Once again, you seem to be assuming that what you want or think is appropriate is what everyone wants or needs. No one posting in this thread seems to agree with you. And it doesn't matter if we do or not as we can't give you what you want. Only Apple can. Submit your feedback to Apple requesting the feature.

I have voice mail turned off. Too many people leave long messages and then repeat it all when you call them back. Caller ID lets me know who called. If it's urgent, people can send me a text.
