Will screen protectors affect the sensitivity of the new iPhone 6S/6Splus screen?

I want to know if it would be worth it to by a screen protector or if it would diminish my phones screen features.

It is unlikely that it is a software problem. It may be a hardware problem, or may be the quality of the screen protector you are using.
