How will OS X Yosemite Notes app work with new iOS 9 Notes app?

How will OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 Notes application work with the new iOS 9 Notes app? Will they be compatible? How will OS X Yosemite's Notes application display features from iOS 9 that the Yosemite version does not yet possess? Will I cripple my Notes app if I have iOS 9 on my iPhone and OS X Yosemite on my MAcBook Pro?

Thanks!

Hi,

I'd like to be sure I understood well.

At the moment, I do NOT want to update to El Capitan, but would like to upgrade to IOS 9. I'm on Yosemite 10.10.5.

Will I loose syncing abilities if I don't click on the "upgrade" button in the up right corner of the IOS 9 Notes App ?

In other terms, is there really the old IMAP-based Notes installed in IOS 9, that keeps the ability to sync with Yosemite Notes if you don't upgrade to the new Notes App ?

Thank you for your answers.

There were very clear notes on this issue, provided before you upgraded to iOS 9, I know because I read them prior to upgrading. If you do not take the time to read the information provided the problem is not with Apple but with you. If you had read that and chosen not to upgrade to iOS 9, you would have no problem. Read the release notes next time and you will be fine.
