game center broken in ios 9

Please fix this bug apple!!!!

I just installed iOS 9.1 public beta 4 on my iPad 3rd Generation, and Game Center settings and app both load for me again. Getting ready to do the same for my wife's.

I can't tell you how many hours I've spent researching this issue. SO glad I found this thread.

Please report back if your second one is fixed too. Thanks.

If Microsoft was taken to court for monopolising the browser with Internet Explorer, shouldn't Apple be for Game Centre in iOS 9? How many times do I have to disagree to using Game Centre before it stops appearing?

I installed beta 5 today and everything seems to be working fine. I wasn't happy about having to sign up for the beta to resolve this issue. The 5s is the last Iphone I will ever own. I know Android gets buggy during updates too. My tablet is an android, but I've never had a problem this bad or for this long.

Yup... have this problem on my iPhone 4S after going to IOS 9. But I didn't actually realize it was a game center issue until I got a new iPhone 6 and tried to do a restore. GC also stopped working on the iPhone 6 after restore. (I only play one game that uses GC). Found this thread and signed up for the public beta. I think I'll be trying the 9.1 beta, since others have reported it fixed the GC issue...

Glad to hear reports that this problem is fixed in the iOS 9.1 betas. I'm not installing the beta on my main iPad, but at least now I'm not wondering if it will be fixed.

In addition to not letting me play any games that rely on GC, this bug also prevents me from deleting any GC-enabled games. When I'd normally see the dialog asking if I want to remove the game from GC, the iPad instead locks up and eventually restarts.

Mine still doesn't work. Game Center says it's a apple problem . I have iOS 9.2 update that was supposed to fix problem but hasn't. Did what they told me and still can't get games to work. Wish I go get the old version back at least it worked.

Are you sure you installed 9.1beta? after signing in for beta program https://beta.apple.com ?

Public ios version does NOT fix the problem yet.

I Have a iPad not iPhone. Will this work or can I go back to ios8

I just ran into this issue today on my iPhone 6 (9.0.2). I absolutely refuse to have to jump though hoops to get this to work. I tried something really easy which seemed to work so i thought id share it. I turned off my phone ( i did not hard boot it) I held the power button down and turned it off normally. Powered it back up and went into the game center app before i did anything and it loaded up (before it was sitting at a white screen and i couldn't get access it from settings either) after it loaded i minimized the app (i did NOT close it) I went into an app that uses GC and it worked!. i tried a few other games and it worked for all of them. Not sure if its completely fixed but at least i didn't have to wipe my phone and start over.

I have ipad and can only confirm that it works there. It is easy to do, only follow the link and simple instructions and it will install new ios 9.1beta.

As far as I know it is too late to go back to ios8, apple has already blocked it.

Release iOS 9.1 working fine with Game center. Thank you for everybody.
