game center broken in ios 9

Still not working for me. Was fixed for some days, now I got same issue again: can open game center in settings and games can't connect to game center. :/

FYI, Upgrading to iOS 9.1 fixed the issue for me, too!

Not fixed for me either - my game center connected apps are still crashing after a couple of minutes of play. Beta 4 worked better for me than 9.1

what steps did you do in betaapplecom exactly to get this beta?

Not fixed for me either! For the past weeks restarting the device (sometimes twice in a row) would fix the problem, but now it seems broken for good. iPad mini 2, iOS 9.1

For anyone still having issues, I am sorry to hear that.

For me, as well as what seems most other people iOS 9.1 fixed the Game Center problem.

The only ideas I have are what Apple suggests.

If you can, sign out of came center and sign back in.

Try backing up your device, and factory resetting it.

try to log into gamecenter by hitting app. When I updated my iPad it didn't log on right away I had to open game enter app and log in.hope that works for u

I can't even log out of Game Center in settings or start the Game Center app. always crashes. however I just realized this is in the iPhone forum. My iPhone 6 is working fine, but my iPad Air 2 got the problem - same account btw.

There is another great principal software problem in IOS9 family OSes.

Because of possibility to make thin-application differently for every devices for iOS9 devices it is impossible now to move application from device to iTunes.

This feature doesn't work completely via iTunes connect, check it!! But for iOS8 devices it works even with new iTunes.

Game Center works for last 3 days now.

Here is what I did: I made a backup with iTunes and restored to iOS 9.1 (same version I had already). I configured it as a new iPad and started Game Center - everything worked fine, I logged in and out without a problem. I restored the backup from iTunes on the iPad - took some time to get 50 GB of apps back - and since then Game Center works as it used to (login in games is even faster than before iOS 9).

I tried backup/restore before without luck, so I think the difference was to get into Game Center with this iPad for once.

Hello, Thank you so much for your help.. Apple says this problem is fixed on ios 9.1 but IT IS NOT!! I was experiencing the same problem with my iPhone 6 with ios 9.1 and did what you said.. everything went well for a few days.. but yesterday i turned off my phone and when I turned it on again the same Game Center bug appeared.. i couldn't log in and the white screen on GC app appeared.. It freezes when trying to delete apps from the main menu so I restarted my phone again and thankfully, I could log in this time.. I'm wondering if this problem happened to you again when you turn off your iPad?? It seems the bug is still there, but thanks to you my Game Center worked once again anyway.. Does this mean I can't turn off my phone anymore?? That *****!! That trick was very helpful but it isn't the solution.. Apple should do something about it!! I haven't experienced those kind of problems with Apple products before.. They're so annoying!! They're losing their rep because of sooo many issues like this one.. Hope this problem will be fixed soon!! DO SOMETHING APPLE!!

Same problem here, GC still will not load at all. iPhone 6 Plus 16 Gb iOS 9.1. I'm just trying to play Madden, maaaan 😝

Same issue here with iOS 9.1 iPad 4 - Game Center usually takes about 5 mins to load...eventually

Is there any real fix for this yet?

that isnt a total wipe

my ipad is great, can log into gamecenter on my mac

but even on 9.2 on my 6+, gamecenter freezes and an unable to connect to certain games that use it
