I just updated my iPhone 6 plus to iOS9. When I open the "Phone" app, there is a message at the top of the list of my calls:
Visual Voicemail is currently unavailable.
Call Voicemail
Is there a way to fix this?

Same problem here except I didn't get the notice. Just starts dialing voicemail.

I Reset my network settings and I'm now sorted. You'll lose all your wifi passwords but it fixed the problem

Settings/General/Reset/Reset Network Settings
Settings, General, scroll to the bottom, tap Reset and then Reset Network Settings
Go into settings, general, scroll down to the bottom and you'll see reset. Go into there and you will see Reset Network Settings. Press that then your phone will turn off the on again. Once it it back on just renter your network passwords (wifi) and it should be sorted. Hope this fixes the problem for you as t did for me.
RResetting the network settings was not effective. Any other ideas? Still not getting visual VM. I'm on a 6 Plus if that makes a difference.
Have you tried the hard reset?
I am having the same issue. Reset Network Settings, Hard reset, still dials voicemail. Worked fine before this IOS 9 update.
Same problem - Network reset did not work.
Network settings reset, hard reset, soft reset. About to do a drop kick reset.....
Apple needs to issue 9.0.1...
I have no idea why this is happening and it seems like Apple doesn't have a solution. Hopefully the more reply's this thread gets the more attention to the issue!
