visual voicemail not working in iOS 9...

I FIXED IT! Dial 611 on your phone and go through the automated voicemail password change menu. I did that and by the time I hung up the visual voice mail was back up and running! Try it and let me know if it works for you!

I'm an O2 user in UK and tried something similar going through all menus after dialling 901. But this did not change the situation. Any other ideas? Thanks everyone.

Sort of worked. Visual vm is back, but I can't record a greeting or play back any of the existing messages. So really, worse than before. Before this "fix" I was able to dial in to get messages, and now I can see them but can't hear them. Apple needs to fix this.

Update. Checked the O2 community forum. Suggestion was to use another phone. Leave a voicemail on affected phone. Wait for voicemail on affected phone to appear. It did. I deleted and so all now appears ok.

I resolved my by logging in to AT&T.net and reset by voicemail password

GGetting better. After leaving myself a message from another phone and yet another hard reset, I was able to listen to my messages. Still can't record a personal greeting. Next step, dial into vm directly & see if I can record a personal greeting that way.

interesting how the capitalization feature is a little inconsistent, now that we have the case sensitive keyboard. It seems to work fine from sentence to sentence unless I backspace after the perioD. Then it gets a little weird. Something for another thread. Anyone else experiencing this as well?

I Tried the other suggestions and none worked. Your suggestion of resetting voicemail password worked for me.

Same issue after iOS 9 update. iPhone 5. My fix was calling 611 as stated above, talking to AT&T support, eventually having them remove visual voicemail, restart of iPhone and setting up visual voicemail again. They had mentioned I would lose all previous voicemail, but I actually still had voicemail from 4 days ago and prior. New greeting had to be set.

I updated my phone yesterday and the giant dot won't go away. I reset my voicemail password, reset network settings, did a few reboots, called the phone from another phone, tried the airplane mode on off thing. It still won't go away. Not sure what is going on.

I am having same problem.. called ATT they said that iPhone said to try resetting network settings... did this and it is still not working... Voicemail is crucial and this needs to be fixed ASAP please HELP

IOS 9 worked great on my phone, but my wife's has the voicemail bug that actually dials our son when she pushes the voicemail button.

Network reset did not work.

I'll try a reinstall of IOS9 and see what happens
