visual voicemail not working in iOS 9...

WWent to ATT store, they tried everything, finally they called their Tech Support and reset things from that end. Took forever but is now working on both phones we have. Had tried most of the things people suggested in this thread To no avail. Might be more of a carrier issue than an Apple problem. No idea really.

Hey anyone still having this problem with 9.1? I have tried everything on these boards to reset and nothing is working. When I go to the visual voice mail it dials voice mail and I can't get into my voice mailbox. Tried resetting password, tried hard reset, tried network reset, nothing is bringing back my voice mail. I am losoing business by missing calls!!!!

Contact your carrier. Voicemail is a carrier function, and they probably need to reset it on their end. Have them rest and make sure your account is provisioned for visual voicemail.

My daughters phone was cracked and I wanted to see if her SIM card still worked.

I Switched SIM cards, her number loaded, then I switched back to my SIM card.

MY visual voicemail which hadnt been working for eternity despite numerous support calls was miraculously fixed.

Press and hold 1 on the dialing keypad. This will take you to your voicemail. Use your passcode to get into voicemail options then press 4 to change greeting.

This worked for me. Hope it works for you.

This is my problem. no problems getting to the voicemail....but "play" button is not blue/illuminated, and i cannot press it. Therefor I cannot listen to it. Absolutely infuriating. Usually comes good over the period of 3-5 days but again that's no use to me. Incidentally that's my work left a message and I can't listen to it. Anyone else have this issue?

Also dialed 611 and reset my voicemail. Seconds later they sent me a new voicemail password, and after I entered it, it was fixed immediately.

Check that your cellular data is switched on. Doh!
