Sep 16, 2015 2:51 PM in response to madisonkandrotasby im_sarah,★HelpfulI had the same problem. In the end I restored my phone to factory settings but now it's just stuck looping so I wouldn't bother doing that unless you reallyyyy want to. Others are saying wait a few hours.
I didn't even know IOS9 came out today.. I literally haven't updated my phone in over a year, it was on IOS7 and I just picked today to do it out of the air.. Terrible timing!!

Sep 16, 2015 4:16 PM in response to niall232by im_sarah,Nothing for me, I'm going to bed and I will try again in the morning and factory restore again if necessary.
I have enjoyed not being connected to my phone for one night, even if it was initially filled with panic!! Hoping it won't be too many more though!

Sep 16, 2015 4:37 PM in response to cacrudenby LucasJLD,switch it off, connect to itunes and press the home buttom at the same time. it will start in recovery mode (or something like that) allowing to restore. But it didn't make any difference.

Sep 16, 2015 4:50 PM in response to LucasJLDby cacruden, power and home = hard reset. I have done that several times.... can't get past it can't restore due to Locate my iPhone.

Sep 16, 2015 4:54 PM in response to cacrudenby LucasJLD,It's not power and home. Is hold switch on by holding home and plugged into itunes. It shows a screen with a thunderbolt cable and iTunes Icon.
Then it will say your phone has a problem and should restore or update. Otherwise you will keep with that Locate message.

Sep 16, 2015 6:03 PM in response to madisonkandrotasby joej3000,Same problem. Tried recovery mode with iTunes, would not allow restore settings or restore from backup. It indicates Find My iPhone setting is still "on." Tried to erase the phone via iCloud but would not work because the phone needed to connect to a network which it never does. Hard resets not working either.
