iPhone 5 Stuck on slide to upgrade after iOS 9 update..

Hi all,

I was rather happy with iOS 7 so never upgraded to 8 - but then 9 has just come out so I decided I would finally update my iPhone for the battery enhancements. Updated it via iTunes and the install seemed to go well, however, I'm now stuck on the slide to upgrade screen and my phone is just unresponsive - it won't slide!

It comes up the first time and it works, I enable location services and Wi-Fi, but then the slide message comes up again and it doesn't work.

I've hard to reboot the iPhone with the Sleep and Home button, but get stuck on the same part again.

Anyone else struggling?

If you did a previous back-up on iTunes on your computer/laptop. You should be able to open iTunes and see your phone appear on the top left (of course your phone must be connected to your computer/laptop by apple usb cable, it might ask you to enter your apple account credentials to) once your phone has finished syncing, selecting the option "Summary" on the left, you should see in the middle of the screen a section called "Backups".

Under the title "Manually Back Up and Restore" you should see an option called "Restore Backup..." select this (making sure to select your most recent back-up) and then following through the steps. If you encrypted your backup with a password, you will have to enter this before it continues to restore the back up.

Depends on the size of your back it can take 20+ minutes to complete.
