Question: Ios 9 cant enable mobile data for application(s)?

I was traveling while upgrading my device, and most seem to work as expected so far.

Since I'm careful with roaming charges, I disabled most of the apps from the mobile data setting page before I left, so I could read mail abroad without using alot of data in the background.

After upgrading to IOS 9, I can't seem to enable mobile data for any new apps.

The ones that were already enabled, is fine.. they can be disabled and then enabled again, but for example spotify refuses to use mobile data after the update,

I've restarted, soft reset, and every time the mobile data checkbutton is back to off if I go out of settings and in again (and it doesn't work).

Anyone else have this problem?

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9, IOS 9, mobile data settings

I'm having exactly the same issue. Any apps that were switched off for mobile data use before the IOS 9 update will not now switch back on. I've reset network settings to no avail. Deleting the apps and reinstalling them doesn't seem to work either. I thought about using one of my recent backups to iCloud but oddly since the IOS update I no longer have any phone backups despite me previously backing up pretty regularly!

Now most of my apps can't use cellular data. so ****** off right now coz I'm not home all the time and always depend on my cellular data wherever I go.. Dunno what to do? went to Apple Store a while ago and those Apple employees did not help at all.... I tried resetting all my settings 3times today to no avail.

I just got off the phone with Apple tech support. The woman said that this update is a chaotic mess. We tried resetting all settings, which didn't work and she was trying to find other ways to help, none of which worked. My plan is to downgrade to iOS 8 tonight and wait until the next update to iOS 9 comes out.

Anyone have a good link with downgrading instructions?

I just downgraded using the instructions in the following link: http://www.phonearena.com/news/How-to-downgrade-your-iPhone-or-iPad-from-iOS-9-t o-iOS-8.4.1_id73875. It seems to have worked so far. I downgraded using the instructions and restarted my phone before syncing and restoring from my most recent backup (taken before iOS 9 download). Just make sure to deny the upgrade to iOS 9 when it's connected to iTunes. Don't panic if you deny iOS 9 and it your phone shows as updating. Mine did that and it's still iOS 8.4.1.

Same Issue on me, I call Apple support but no solution.

I did upgrade why Itunes. And do restore using wire so Wifi is note the problem.

Also after restore have done reset to defaults and network reset. But same issue.

I hope that the solution is not to clean install as new phone (that was what support told me).

Yes , they told me to Restore , use it as new phone, install the app that is not working ( in may case are arround 50 apps), and try to restore the backup.

But they didn´t have any reports of this issue jet, I was the firts one to report this problem. The support first try to tell me that was a issue of restoring the backup not cause of Ios9. After told him all the steps I´ve done then he realize that is a Ios 9 issue.

That's clearly not the case. I spoke to Apple support reporting this issue at 10:30 GMT this morning (4 hours ago in other words). They werent able to offer a fix other than a clean install which I don't really want to have to do as IOS 9 seems to have deleted all my iCloud backups. Hopefully they will come up with a workaround soon.
