iOS 9/iTunes 12.3 not syncing app through devices

I've recently updated my IOS and ITUNES to the latest versions and when I sync my iphone is not syncing the apps automatically on my mac as it used to do before.

Is that a glitch of the new IOS?
Any easy solution to sort it out?

iPhone 6, iOS 9

As I said in my post iTunes downloads no longer syncs updates to the devices. Apple support agrees. You must update each separately they say.

You are somehow misinformed or have a problem with your system.

I download all updates to my iTunes library on my Mac, hookup my iPhone (s)

and the updates download from my computer to the iPhone (s). As a matter

of fact, I did this this morning.

However, updates will not be moved from the iDevice to iTunes on a computer.

Then again, if each device is tied to a different AppleID, then there is a problem

as each ID is a separate library and account and will therefore require multiple

downloads.

Same here
I bought Ecoute on my iphone and it never appears in my osx iTunes ....

Unless you have "Automatically Download Apps purchased on other devices enabled"

it will not download to your iTunes library. You will also need to be logged into your Apple ID

and depending on your connection could take a bit. However, only purchases made after you

enable automatic downloads in iTunes will download. Anything previously you will need to do

manually.

Wish it worked. Based on your success tried just now with no luck. All devices have the same I.d. Worked as you said until the new iTunes update. Apple Support claims it's an iTunes or iOS issue. I have been doing it like you said for years.

Did you update iTunes via Software Update? If so, try downloading the full installer

and run it. Sometimes the updates miss some files. The full installer will overwrite

all old and outdated stuff and install over previously installed stuff, which could have

been borked by the updater.

This is always how I do my iTunes updates and in most cases will fix issues that the updater

version created.

There shouldn't be any issue, however, since anything can happen it is a good

idea to backup your library to be safe.

Apple and itunes appar to be going backwards. Apple used to have excellent efficient software. Now it is buggy and always has issues. I wish they would spend a little longer getting it right rather than knocking out update after update. Itunes started to go downhill after the removal of itunes DJ. Now this syncing issue with apps is making me seriusly look at alternatives.

This was not a positive move for many users. Updating all apps on the Mac then syncing all mobile devices to the Mac is the easiest and least expensive way of keeping everything up to date. Somebody in Cupertino needs their wheatgrass shot consumption boosted because this was a bad idea.

Apparently Apple has gone to the 95% rule in software development and we who are part of

the 5% don't matter anymore.
