iTunes 12.3 doesn't recognize proxy settings

An older version has no problems. Everything works fine. Since I installed iTunes 12.3.0.44 today it can't connect to the iTunes store.

OK, now it works on me as well. I've completely removed iTunes with all relevant components. After that I reinstalled it and now the Apple Application Support version is 4.0.3.

If you want to look for the version you have installed, choose "Run Diagnostics" from the Help menu. You can deactivate tests about irrelevant things, but leave the "Network connectivity test" on. If you run it and it finishes, it will show you the report. You will see the version you have installed.

Help or ? and then Diagnostics

Select the tests to run, I did just the network tests. Run some tests and is able to show you the installed versions.

Here is what I had with the old Version:

Microsoft Windows 7 x64 Enterprise Edition Service Pack 1 (Build 7601)

Parallels Software International Inc. Parallels Virtual Platform

iTunes 12.3.0.44

QuickTime nicht verfügbar

FairPlay 2.9.7

Apple Application Support 4.0.2

iPod Updater-Bibliothek 12.0

Apple Mobile Device 9.0.0.26

Apple Mobile Device Treiber 1.67.0.0

Bonjour 3.1.0.1 (333.18)

Gracenote SDK 3.06.1.3084

Gracenote MusicID 3.06.1.3084

Gracenote-Übertragung 3.06.1.3084

Gracenote DSP 3.06.1.3084

Should be:

Apple Application Support 4.0.3

Great news.

How the the Library handlind for you?

We change the Library location away from Drive C to D. And with this version the location is changed back to "C:\Users\Joerg.Hochwald\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media" in my example 😟

And we found another strange thing: I downloaded the version here in Germany, if I push the installation to clients in the US, everything is german after the first start. We never had that with any previous version.
