Maybe you don't understand from the rest of the posts but Nike doesn't support it any more and there is no option for Apple to put it back in iOS 9.0.3. This isn't a simple flick of the switch and it's enabled or disabled. Nike would have to completely redevelop for iOS 9 and that would be if they even decided they wanted to support it again. As far as I know Nike is even (or already has) discontinuing the Fuelband and they will only be focusing on a small set of wearables.

This is very upsetting. I have been an Nike+ user since 2011. Some warning would have been nice to sync up my unsynced runs. I understand it not working on Iphone6 but they should still leave the options for Iphone5s users. I wish I never updated to IOS9. Apple needs to do something about this! I have been an Iphone user since the day it came out. This is the FIRST time they have ever made me really upset. I have rolled with the punches with all the old other changes thru the years... and always supported them. They should continue to support me seeings how I have always been a loyal apple customer!

Im pretty sure it is as simple as a flick of a switch, or just simple coding...you mean to tell me that one of the best phones and company in the world cant adjust their new operating system to sync withe the Nike+ sensor which btw has not changed, so the operating system should be able to adapt... I can only assume you and that meg st_clair character both work for apple offering those dumb solutions

Why would Apple continue to support the Nike+ sensor when Nike themselves no longer support it? This would be similar to video players to continue offering HD-DVD support just because some people may still own discs that are no longer supported and the rest of the world has moved to Blu-Ray. Just because you have a Nike+ sensor doesn't require that Apple needs to support it. If Nike still supported the sensor and had a partnership with Apple, they'd probably still have it built into the OS. However, at this time, neither of the two companies see a need to continue the support for the sensor.

Then you would be wrong. Nike discontinued the app. Nike owns the app. Apple cannot install software on their phones to which they do not have the rights. And Apple has no reason to reverse engineer the sensor even if they were able to get the rights as they already have similar technology built into the phone.

I don't understand why my alternate suggestions are so offensive. No one here can make Nike do anything. No one here can get that app back on your device. All any reasonable person can do is offer alternatives. It's not as if you're required to take them. A person both reasonable and polite would just say "thank you" and move on.

Everyone understands that there are people unhappy with the situation. If I thought that the Nike+ software was anything other then dreck I stopped using years ago, I'd probably be unhappy, too. But, as I am a reasonable person, I'd go get a Polar foot pod, download Polar Flow and move on.
