Hey. I updated my iPhone 6 woth the new ios9 software last night. Since then when I make or receive a call i can't hear anything and the person on the other end of the phone can't hear me either. Same issue if I use loud speaker. is there a simple way to fix this thanks

Had the same issue. Restarting helped!
I had this too, just after iOS9 was installed. It was resolved for me after rebooting the device once more.

Restarting did not help me. Anyone else continuing to have this problem after restarting. DId ios9.01 update today, sound still does not work.
Have the same problem. Callers can't hear me, I can't hear them. Doesn't work with phone speaker and mic, doesn't work with Bluetooth, doesn't work with headphones. I can hear music via Bluetooth, I can hear sounds on my phone, I can hear music through speaker. Can also hear and record voicemails. Only thing that doesn't work is phone calls. Have no problems with data, texting, anything.
Went to Apple and they said the microphone is out. Had no comment why I can make phone calls like normal on Facebook Messenger and all voicemail functions work. No explanation why microphone in the phone keeps me from making calls while on Bluetooth.
Went to AT&T and they said it's a phone problem. Sim card makes calls in other phones.
I have the same problem. My phone also takes about a minute to end a call and then tells me that the call failed. I've restarted the phone numerous times, I have had to restart the phone by holding down the lock and home button about 3 times too. This has been going on for a few days now since the latest update. Getting fed up now

i thought I was the only one having this issue! I've tried restarting multiple times and this is seriously defeating the whole purpose of having a cellphone.
I Updated to 9.0.1 and now my mobile working fine.
I've updated mine and it is still not working. I'm going to O2 tomorrow to see what they say!
