Can't hear any sound on calls after iOS9 update

Try putting in phone number manually in again without the number 1 in front of it. It will work

Did anything help this. Mine stopped letting me hear or talk on a call that it will connect me with 2 days ago. It will facetime and I can hear and be heard. It will text and do all other functions 100% normal but no caller can hear me and I can hear no caller. Videos stream fine, the recording function using apps seems to be working just fine I tested that with a voice memo app. So frustrating. Please tell me if anyone has had this and fixed it. I did restart it, then I restarted it with the lock and home button, then I updated the software.....still not working!!!

MY phone just started today . the other caller can't hear me but I can hear them. When I try to use the head phone it doesnt work . call don't go out . Help

Version 9.2.1 and this is STILL HAPPENING. Apple, are you guys ever going to fix this?!!

Just updated to iOS 9.3 and I had the same problem (no sound in phone calls). Based on the advice by others with previous iOS updates, I just rebooted my phone, and all is well.

I updated to IOS 9.3 and had the same issue on outgoing calls only (no audio). Rebooting fixed the problem temporarily. Each time I rebooted audio came back on outgoing calls, but only for a minute each time.

I tried using my Bluetooth headset and it didn't work either.

However, I then plugged in the headphone jack (my external speakers) and the audio came back. Unplugged the headphone jack and all is normal now. I'm not sure if this will help anyone else, but there you have it.

I Also just updated to 9.3. No audio on calls (Incoming or outgoing). If I put speaker phone on, sound suddenly came through on both ends, but so choppy no one could make anything out. I did a hard reset by holding the home button and power button down until the phone restarted, and it fixed it. I try not to do hard resets often, but it worked for this. Wonder why this happens? So strange.

I have an iPhone 6s. When I make a phone call the speaker will not work. When someone calls me the speaker will not work. I went through T-Mobile's tech support the sent me a replacement phone. The replacement phone has the same problem. I have not connected the phone ups to a wired headset yet. Rebooting did nothing. Restoring the phone did nothing. This is a very significant iPhone problem that has been documented since ios9. Apple....please help, it is also a safety issue.

I have a an iPhone 6 and my wife has a 5S. Ever since we updated our phones to 9.3.3 we have been having problems. We first thought it was our phones but my older son has a 5S that he never updates and his phone works like a charm. When we make calls the person on the other end cannot hear us. We can hear them. Also calls are disconnecting and occasionally we get "call failed". I am a long time Apple consumer but I have serious concerns about the customer support that is being provided these days. For the first time in years I have started to think about other options. Not related to this topic but is related to how Apple responds these days.. lost the cap to my Apple Pencil and was on the phone with Apple for 40 minutes and still no resolution. Just told me to go to the Apple Store. I hope they get this resolved soon. Come on Apple.

Just checked my phone and 9.3.4 is available, hopefully can fix this. I've been having to reboot my phone every couple of days- I make a call, connect, but the other person can't hear me. At least 2 of my colleagues are having the same problem.

This is happening to mine as well. It's been like this forever and I'm getting ready to throw the darn thing across the room.

None of the updates have helped me.
