iCloud Backup Broken After iOS 9 Upgrade

I reset my network settings, I logged out and logged into icloud, I deleted back...tried every possible option. still my icloud back up is not working. it hangs with msg - estimating time and the minutes keep increasing 6 hours..and no progress at all. what the **** has happened will apple solve the problem? wil apple be courteous? why apple doesnt respond?

Everyone is experiencing different versions of this issue. There is no reason to believe that it is not being worked on, as it affects lots of people lots of different ways. Apple is not going to respond here, since this is a user to user support forum, and until they get to the bottom the issue, there is really nothing they can tell us it doesn't seem.....

In the mean time, it would be a good idea to back up to iTunes, if you can, and be sure to keep your photos imported on a regular basis.

I Have the same problems. Just adding my post in the hope that the more posts about this there are, the more likelyhood of Apple resolving the issue will be.

I had the same problem. First time I've upgraded my phone on an "off year". Got the 6s. Restored from backup (not as new phone) and the problem is fixed.

Actually seams that iOS 9 (and 9.0.1) has more bugs than features: broken iCloud backup, tons of graphic glitches, even lots of lag in my iPhone 6...

What're you doing Apple? WAKE UP!!

Same issue on my 6 running 9.01, however on my iPad Air 2 I am running the public beta 9.1 and it backed up just fine last night as usual. So obviously a fix is out there.

🙂Seems patience paid and bug fixed, iphone and ipad have backedup spontaneously without resets.

Well, after letting go of the issue till apple fix it, I found the iPhone has backed up well without doing anything.

I do not know, but may be it really was a problem from servers.

I hope it's a iCloud server side problem. Here iOS 9.0.1 on iPhone 6, automatic and manual iCloud backups are still broken.

Last automatic backup reported on 23rd September, seems broken from there.

Mine still NOT working!

I already tried:

- Delete the old backup (after the loading spinning wheel stops)

- Full backup on iTunes then restore

- A lot from alternatives from Google.... and nothing work.

I'm on the iOS 9.1 Beta 2 and since the iOS 9.0 and 9.0.1 i'm facing the same problem.

I never have issues on iCloud backup when in iOS 8.1.4

I have the free account (5GB) but my backup have less than 1 GB.

Let's hope Apple fix this as soon as possible!
