spotlight search iOS 9 contacts not showing in results

OK please dont takw offense but you said download. Did you also install? after i installed it did not work. Then i deleted eschange account then adddd it back checked the email a few times for it to ping server. then all was good.

Yes installed sorry. I uninstalled exchange and reinstalled. Spotlight still doesn't search my contacts. Things seems even slower now. Mail takes forever to load. Even new contacts entered on my phone won't show up in spotlight search or contacts search.

This worked for me. At last

i have 9.0.2 and the spotlight search sometimes work, sometimes doesnt! :/

by the way, i couldnt find the "group" option in contacts. where and how please?

Thanks, like for many others it worked for me too!

I'm having the same issue. But my spotlight contact searches are incomplete. Some names are found, others aren't. Only on my iPhone 6 is it not working. iOS 9.0.2

I need a phone first of all. Now trying Android for the first time. Thanks Apple.

where do you find "groups" in the contacts app? i cannot see it...

Same issue. fersoft2009's tip didn't work for me.

My experience at the Apple store in order to get my iPhone 6S was terrible. Now I'm getting this dumb issue.

The more it goes, the more I dislike Apple.

I Have a Saturday genius bat appointment. If this isn't resolved, I'm iff to Samsung Droid. Everyone loves it and this contacts thing has cost me time and money and still no resolution. I signed up for the beta to try and help, sent in photos and info on the issues and still no positive results.

I have checked with other people I know who have an iPhone. All of them have similar problem as contacts are not showing in Spotlight search.

I wonder how many employees actually sit hourly and check these forums to try to resolve these silly grade 2 problems...These are suppose to be adults and check every phone operation before the launch the software to the public.

ITs been 3 days now and after going to beta 9.1 and deleting and then adding the exchange account. its has performed flawlessly since doing that.

I deleted my Google CardDav account and then reinstalled it. Working for now. Seems like an indexing issue.
