I wonder if anyone can help me. The "i" key on the keyboard of my 12 inch Macbook is sticking. It does not have the same "click" or tactile feedback that the other keys have. I try to keep the keyboard clean and free of crumbs, dust, etc, however something just doesn't seem right. Is there a safe way to remedy the problem myself?

This has happened from day one for me.
Seems to go from SHIFT to SPACEBAR.
So annoying!

Yes mine does. I got an iPad Pro With no keyboard. Thinking of using it over the MacBook as it's so hard to type reports etc.
That's good advice if you live near an Apple Store, but millions and millions of people do NOT!
Totally agree. It seems like apple is screwing the users again. It's happened with many other issues in the past too.

You just need a can of compressed air. Should be easy to find and far cheaper than a compressor. Plus the air is micro filtered

Yeah, I've heard of many complaints about Surfaces. And it's a shame that top IT giants and other players still can't provide us with flawless product even for premium price.
I'm having the same problem too, and of course it's 1 month out of warranty. Any experience with getting it fixed out of warranty?
Best bet would be the Genius Bar, as suggested, but you could go over the keys lightly with a vacuum cleaner brush attachment. I say lightly because you don't want to risk sucking the keys off.
Im also having this problem. 2017 MacBook with a stuck space bar. Apple Store sent it off for repair on Monday.
Couldn't agree more, the problems are plain and simple: coating was ****, keyboard is ****. But instead of fixing them in current models they make new generations with new issues. Think different.
