itunes 12.3 not displaying artists or album artwork in Apple Music

I may have a solution to this problem for some of u......

If u r not seeing the cover art pictures and everything else, goto ur screen resolution settings.

1. Click "Make text and other images bigger or smaller" ur current screen DPI setting will show.

2. (If using windows 7 etc.) click "Set custom txt size (DPI)"

3. U should see an option "Use Windows XP DPI style" ...If its checked uncheck the box!

4. Log off ur current user, re-login

5. Load iTunes...may look a bit bigger (Which I like) but the cover art issue in "apple music" (NEW) should be fixed......worked for me!

oh man, ive been struggling a long timw with the problem, almost switched back to spotify due to this!

I have my DPI set at 115% and when i changed it back to 100% the album art showed up again.

Does anyone know if its possible to keep the DPI 115%? the 100% looks was to small on my screen.

Glad this helped u. I suggest just do trial and error until u get a DPI setting u like, Ive been able to bump it up a bit without the cover loading problem arising again

Luck you, mine gets all messed up after 100%. Even at 101% DPI my album covers gets blank. Did you do anything specific to get more than 100% DPI?

Right now I have my DPI setting at 120% without any problems. As for specific setting i used, make sure that u UNCHECK the "Use Windows XP DPI style" its in the DPI setting window at the bottom on it.

Other then that thats it, I do use a 46' HDTV as my display, may have to go a bit smaller for u if ur using something smaller.

I tried to uncheck the XP settings, but its gray marked for me so im not able to uncheck it :/

Im using an 27" screen on 1920x1080 so the 100% DPI that im force to have due to the itunes bug, the entire screen looks tiny.

I think the fact that u r using the default 100% setting and not a custom % for DPI may be why its greyed out.. Go into that widow with the greyed out box and try to move the slider up and down to create a custom setting. That may un-grey it. Or try setting it to say 125% and try using the custom slider. I sit at 120% custom, I used the slider to customize.

I actually found a way to keep my 115 DPI. Its to downgrade to itunes 12.2.2.25. Now the album art works fine and i can keep the 115% DPI settings in Windows

Ha funny the thing that worked for u didnt work for me. I tried that before I found out about the DPI. But enjoy while u can because if u ever what to use apple music, ull have to upgrade again. And with the newer versions this DPI thing seems to be the only solution ive found so far anywhere.

Actually, the v12.2.2.25 that i downgrade to works with apple music.

Apple music is the only reason why im using the crappy iTunes app 😝

Did you downgrade to the exact same version as i use?

Oh ya that one and a few others. But whatever works for ya. The DPI method will work for someone out there...did for me 🙂

Not a permanent fix, but if you make your iTunes window smaller, you should see everything appear correctly at some point.
