Recent upgrade to iOS 9 - Old videos taken in portrait mode show in landscape mode (crop/zoom in effect)

Hi guys,

I recently upgraded my phone from iOS 8.3 to iOS 9 on my iPhone 5S and I have this irritating bug:

Videos taken with my old iPhones (3GS and 4S) in portrait mode are now showing in landscape mode while holding the phone vertically.

The videos now look cropped/zoomed in with no possibility to zoom out.

However, when editing the old video using the Edit function, the video shows up in portrait mode as it should be.

For videos taken in portrait mode on my iPhone 5S, there is no such issue.

Do you guys have the same issue? Is there any way to fix it?

Thanks!

iPhone 5s, iOS 9

yeah the ug is still there in 9.3, however there is a workaround if you must see the video on your phone.. jus edit the video and slightly shorten one end of it, save it as a new clip and you're done. This is not how it should be however. If you save your photos and video to iCloud, the videos are fine there. Log in to iCloud.com, find your video and play it, it'll be fine. Download it and it'll play fine. If you use the Photos app on a Mac, the video will also be fine there. Rest assured, the videos aren't ruined, you're just unable to view them correctly on the iPhone.
