Same problem here in Paris. Very, very slow download, then suddenly fast, then very slow again… No problem with my ISP or connexions: Full speed (± 200 Mb/s) on every tests, sites, files, everywhere else than on Mac Appstore.

Further more it seems the problem leads to corrupted files when a download succeed: it occurred 4 times when trying to download OS X Yosemite within the last 3 days.

Yes, the problem is still occurring. We also have an average speed of 100Mbps (tested on SpeedTest.net) but we only get an average of 100Kbps form both the Mac App Store and the iOS App Store. Nothing else is affected. Browsing, Mail, Netflix, Stan are all in excellent order.

Apple Tech Support suggested I call Telstra. Telstra have suggested I take my devices into Apple to get checked. Sorry Telstra, but I won't be taking in 2 x iPhone 6, 2 x iPhone 6Plus, 2 x iPad Mini, 1 x iPad 2, a MacBook Pro and an iMac to all be tested for the exact same issue.

I have also tested the connection from my iPhone 6 to the iOS App Store via 4G with the same results.

Hopefully, they will fix this before El Capitan is released tomorrow.

Hi,

I live in Malaysia using TIME fiber broadband, after upgrading to iOS 9.0.1 very slow download from app store, its been more than a hour only 5-6 apps downloaded. I tried in my Macbook appstore its taking more than hour to download 200mb update of itunes.

I tried to restart my router & flush DNS, still the same slow download. My other browsing are fine like peer-peer download or youtube.

I reported same to my ISP , they said they will investigate.

Please let me know if anyone solved this problem of slow download, most of my downloads on iPhone 6 are struck not able to use them

This is impossible. I'm getting El Capitan now, it needs 20 hours to update.

I have a 20Mbps line as stated before. I'm on UniFi. This has gone on long enough. There is nothing with my line. Just did a speedtest, even to a different ISP in Malaysia my speed is 15-16Mbps. However to Singapore I am only getting 2Mbps max. However I am getting at least 10Mbps to Taiwan. Even connection to Thailand is getting around 10-15Mbps.

I don't know what this is indicating. Is Singapore being an @$$ and throttling Malaysian connection?

Not sure if you are on Telstra, but there is definitely a widespread issue with their services documented at http://technicalnotebook.com/tips-and-tricks/slow-downloads-from-apple-on-telstr a-mobile-and-broadband-networks/, http://slashdot.org/submission/5017985/australian-telstra-customers-suffering-cr ippling-speeds-to-any-apple-service and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4j7ZSblCZJ0 to name a few.

I would love to get Apple's thoughts on the specific Telstra issue, as it seems to be limited to Telstra customers (when you exclude that some other ISPs are just suffering congestion issues... this is all day for the last 4 days).

Hope that info might help.
