Cannot take recent calls after upgrading to iOS 9

I've upgraded to iOS 9 last week and I found that my call functions are not working properly.

*Call history is not displaying

* Not Displaying missed calls

*Dial Pad is not active

*Cannot access favorites.

Basically I cannot access Call function window.( I don't know the correct term for that. Sorry ) If i need to get a call, i need to search it form the phone book and find the number. If it's a number i didn't save, i cannot take it.

After restarting, i can access it once. after that, it will appear blank and inactive.

PS. i've restore the phone twice and check. but it's same.

This will only work for sprint users, 1. Turn you wifi on and connect 2. Then go to your phone dialing pad and dial ##873283# then hit the dial button 3. You will get a screen that pops up sorry I don’t recall what it said then hit ok, you should get a second screen that pops up and hit ok, if you get a fail then you are not connected to a wifi 4. then try making a call if it doesn’t go through then go to the settings>celluar>turn cellular data off and back on (I had to do this step and it worked for me) then try to make a call The explanation I got was I had to reconnect my calling connection with a tower, hope this helps

I think it's a memory issue. every time you open skype, or maps or something big, phone list will be not available. Switch it off and on, then it's back up. Today i did switch off twice and i'm felt fed up. i've tried to restore to the last known os, 8.4.1, but they won't let me do it. I don't think this will be ok till apple decide to make lighter version of a OS. I feels sorry for the one's who have Iphone 6. I think you guys need to think about a way to let apple know, we need a lighter OS version or let us restore 8.4.1. 😟 hmmmm

Hey guys, I think this might help you.

Do you guys normally discard the applications after running it? I mean double click on home button and remove the applications that we no longer need??

I normally do. but recently i stopped doing that. now i have 10 or more applications on that list including skype, google maps, etc. but the call list didn't stuck. what i'm thinking is, this happens when you run it 1st time and after restarting the phone, call list is working and even after i use google maps, skype etc, it didn't stuck. This might help. try it and see.

(this is the theory of android too. you don't need to close the application. if you close it, it will takes more time to load it back again and if you leave it without force stop, application will run in the next time smoothly.)

Cheers.!!!

I have the same issue. Since I upgraded my iPhone 6 Plus to iOS 9, and even now with my new iPhone 6S on iOS 9.1 my phone app is frozen. Basically, i cannot access my phonebook and technically I cannot make any calls. I even tried restarting my iPhone so many times but it does not work at all. I don't know what to do. I really hope that Apple will do something about this really soon. This is really annoying! APPLE, PLEASE DO SOMETHING! I HAVE A PHONE WITHOUT PHONE FUNCTIONS!!!!

I have an iphone 6 that i bought last year and I've upgraded to the latest software 9.2.1 and I'm experiencing the same problems.

*I can't take calls.

*If I do swipe to answer call it continues to ring.

*I sometimes can't access the keypad when in a call.

*Also doesn't hangup on the call or allow me to hangup the call no matter how many times I press end.

I've reset my phone multiple times but still no luck in solving the problem.
