ios9 update -> now touchscreen problems

Ever since I updated to ios 9, my iphone 5s touchscreen is acting crazy. The accuracy of where I touch or slide vs. what the iphone thinks I did is completely off. The phone seems to have a mind of its own too, it starts opening apps and stuff when I'm not even touching it. Then other times it freezes completely for 5-10 minutes. It is nearly impossible to shut it off because it won't swipe when I initiate the turn off screen. The home button works fine. Every once in a while the phone will act normal for like 15 minutes and then it goes crazy again!! Anyone else?? This just started a couple days ago after I did the ios 9 update.

Dear anyone that has crazy touchscreen problem, and unresponsive touchscreen.

My phone got fixed today, somehow. And all touchscreen problem dissapears at my iPhone 5 iOS 9.2 [by the post i create 9.2.1 is out]

Initial Problems:

Back at november 2015, i was using iPhone 5 8.1.1 [Jb'ed] super stable, and Pangu comes for 9.0.2

I was restore to 9.0.2 via iTunes, and directly Pangu it.

Somehow the phone has this symtomps. This phone was unusable.

Symtomps:

The Phone is hard to unlock, screen not responding, even to slide.

Sometimes act crazy typing, when you hover over the keyboard it click without touching.

Temporary Solution:

It it has a hard reset [home and button 3 second to reset], sometimes the problems it out, but it will going back after sleep.

The symptomps usually came after locked screen or sleep.Pressing power several times, make the touchscreen usable.

Problems come when there is phone call, and the screen unresponsive, pressing power several times will cut the call off.

Trial Solution Not worked:

DFU Restore As new Phone https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_JY750KUmk

Software Reset All Settings and Content as new phone at general settings. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=es4IjTjBDYs

Solution:

i was able to make phone usable last monday January 2016

After several DFU restore to 9.1 & 9.2 and software reset, it still have the problems.

I was at the mall, my Appstore jammed, i software reset all settings and content as new phone.

And i bypass not entrying the icloud id, and bypass locking password to none [usually i put it on]

AND confirm send diagnostic to apple.[usually i dont]

somehow the problems gone.

I updated my Iphone 6 new IOS 9.2.1. Touch screen problem is not dissapear, I think that it's going worse again. But now I have new problem too. My battery going empty so quickly. Last night I load my Iphone 6 battery and after 2-3 hours my battery is only 20% althought I didn't used it. Very soon I can't use my Iphone. Apple store didn't find reasons, but I know that this problem is new firmware. Apple not want to tell it, because this is very strange problem. Someone suffer this problem, but someone use Iphone without problem. I think that Apple accept this problem next autumn, because people change their phone before it.

This is happening to me as well...perhaps not as severely. But, white linear and pixel type lines are at the top and bottom of the phone when it does this - intermittently. The phone freezes on all activity, particularly if it is waking up. Slamming it against the base of my hand or slight flexing of the body seems to get it beck on the right path, but neither 'applied technical' method is a good idea for the phone. Others I have spoken to say Apple is aware of the problem, it's apparently a big problem, but as of now is not doing anything about it unless you decide to buy a new phone - then they replace it for $139.! The work around was suggested by an Apple Tech in the Store!

I forgot.

My phone worked as charm after I changed my battery personally and restore it to a new phone.

Its not recommended to change your phone personally, especially for iPhone 5s and beyond that has touchid.

Those touchid flexible cable is very easily to break, and it's cannot replaced. If it something mishandled, say bye bye for your touchid.

I also experience it right now after I update the latest IOS 9.2.1 my phone touch screen didnt response properly and its getting worst. I need to lock and unlock so that my touch screen will work or I need to shut down my phone. as of now its getting worst i type something but the keys is not responding properly most of the time is logging too. I hope apple solve this issue and recall those with issues like this because its annoying to the users specially important matters

Guys, had the exact same problem here with iphone 6 plus, after ios 9, silver screen on top and touchscreen unresponsive. It was getting worse to the extent that the problem happens once in twice i turn the phone screen on. And my screen has a tiny crack on it so warranty is void

READ somewhere that its the molex lcd connector being loose, so i pry open the screen myself , and tighten the screw on lcd connector shield without detaching anything. put it back, and it works like a charm, havent got the problem since .

when i open up the case i did notice that there are dusts around the cable and others, i supposed some could actually be affected by that
