Will old iPhone 6 Plus cases work on the new 6s plus phones?

Dubious? Their from pages that are Apple centric by many users. Whatever. Like there has never been a web page mistake on Apple. It's been widely know the Plus was going to be slightly longer and wider, glad your cases fit. I and many others have ones that aren't close to fitting.

The web is full of owners whose cases (both new and old Apple Brand) are so tight and they expand on bottom i width. As I stated Apple replaced mine and is refunding me for the replacement because it doesn't fit. Guess my phone is larger than yours.

I don't see 2 different sized processors listed their so I guess they don't post everything do they?

As previously stated - ad nauseum - in this thread, there are small differences between the 6 and 6s models. Some cases will accommodate these differences with no problem while others may not, depending on the case design and material.

As far as a dependable source of the specs, yes, I will rely on Apple's published information for that, and for the case manufactures for anything on the fit. I suppose it actually helps if one reads the material, but as they say, you can lead a horse to water ...

Re the "bulging," of the case at the bottom corners?

I've had my iPhone 6 just over a year now and have struggled to find a case I like.

Having seen the leather case close up on a friend's 6+ which he bought a year ago being impressed by how beautifully it hugged the phone, I parted with £35, expecting the same "look," on mine when I fitted it when I got home.

At first I thought it was an "optical illusion," but a few hours into looking at it, it just seemed more and more exaggerated and at one point I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me!

I took it back to the Apple Store, where it was exchanged and I went into work and showed it to my mate with the 6+ and we compared the "look," of the 2 phones with my replacement case and again, the difference between the appearance of the 2 was quite stark to me..

My iPhone looks unsightly and non symmetrical with the new iPhone 6S case on it.

I'm now determined to take it back and get a refund and hope that I can get hold of one of the original cases and that this will sort the matter! :O)

I did a search on macrumours, but can't find any discussion on "Bulge-Gate," there! 😉
