Outlook 2016 Not Working with iCloud for Windows 4.2

Today, I upgraded Office 2013 to Office 2016 (32-bit) and found that Outlook 2016 started freezing when I would interact with my iCloud calendars or email. I uninstalled, then reinstalled, all Apple apps (iTunes, iCloud for Windows, Updater, etc.) Now when I open the iCloud panel I keep getting a message to repair iCloud for Windows.

Has Apple not updated iCloud for Windows to work with Outlook 2016? It's not that much of a problem at the moment. I have my iPhone to manage calendars and emails but its not as convenient during my work day.

Anyone else seeing this?

I'm using Office 365 and when I did a fresh install of Windows 10 I lost connectivity between Outlook and iCloud. The iCloud app itself eliminates email, contacts and notes when it runs and says it needs to be repaired. Apple support told me a few weeks ago that iCloud wasn't compatible and there was no known date for a fix.

Are the comments above saying that a 32-bit version of Office 365 will resolve these issues?

One of the tech service vendors my company uses is supposed to be contacting me this week with an OnMicrosoft solution. My bosses use Outlook and the calendars, mail and contacts all stay in sync between iDevices and PCs. While I'd love an Apple solution, Apple is not offering one. If I can get a MS solution, at least it's a solution.

Hi uninstalling office 2013 and reinstalling will NOT fix this issue. I have the same issue as you about repairing icloud and there is no solution at present. The issue exists with 32 and 64 bit office. Basically Office 2016 and icloud are not compatible and until Apple/Microsoft sort it there isn't a way forward. I moved to outlook (on IOS) as per your bosses but I realty could do with the icloud sorting. The fixit about removing Microsoft office does not solve the issue, trust me. The other folk on here must have a different issue I guess.

i recently acquired office 2016 along with a new laptop running windows 10 (64bit). when i try to load my icloud calendar into outlook, i get nothing - a completely blank calendar.

i have no prior version to revert back to, and i have given up on using outlook as a calendar client due to its inability to work with icloud (i was using a different email client already).

WE NEED THIS SOLVED APPLE!!!! Please! I have used the iCloud control panel for pc for what seems like forever to use my contacts from iCloud/iPhone to my custom pc to send emails to my contacts and now I am SOL. Please help us out. Thanks in advance. I have already tried so many things. I have formatted/wiped my machine, installed and clean uninstalled many times, redownloaded a bunch, it is not my machine since it has passed all diagnostics, at this point as a user I have to say it is yall.

While it is fixed, it is glitched. I had to install and uninstall, sign in and out each time, about 3 times before it worked. Most importantly,I uninstalled Bonjour from programs and features before doing so. Then when I rebooted a final time, I logged into icloud BEFORE opening Outlokk and set it up correctly.
