Voice messaging in iMessage issue

I Still have the same issue , butbit happens almost every time !

couple of times I lost very important conversation that I was recording to send . I lost and the conversation was over !

the problem it vanishes as if you are deleting it ! And no way to find it again .

SInce that time I stopped using Imsg to record of send any voices .

I Hope they can have that fixed soon.

Same issue here. Over and over first message - pool - gone. Incredibly frustrating.

I have not found anything that works other than the record short message to give up to the imessage gods and follow up with the real message.

THANK YOU for posting this. I've also done so and it doesn't seem like Apple is listening. We're up to 9.2 now and still no fix as the problem is still occurring.

i've been having this problem for a while, but hadn't taken the time to investigate online until now (late feb 2016). i find it frustrating that this has persisted so long.

i'm running IOS 9.2.1 on an iPhone 6s. for me problem has existed for at least a few months and multiple minor IOS upgrades.

on detail to clarify about my experience, possibly slightly different from what others have reported is that when i try to record a message for the first time in a certain conversation, the message gets recorded. it shows up visually as being complete and (apparently) ready to send. i hit the up-arrow button to send and the message simply disappears without a trace. second and subsequent attempts to send audio message in the same conversation seem to work normally.

i will open a bug with apple about this, for whatever it's worth.

I have the same problem.

The display shows that the message records. The message is ready to send. I press the up arrow. The message vanishes and I just lost my work. This is much worse than the average annoyance. It's a rare bug nowadays, in such a polished system, that actually destroys your work.

After that, subsequent recordings go through correctly for some period time. But then, the problem happens again. So it's a daily occurrence.

Well, I am also not able to record and send first try and discovering this discussion of the issue and that it has been unresolved since September 2015, I assume this is not going to be fixed anytime soon. What good is a quick feature that allows you to avoid writing text of it requires extra effort to use?

The problem seems to have been fixed atleast for now on 9.3.1, it's worked every time I've tried it so far on the fir try, what about y'all?
