Exchange calendar not syncing after iOS 9 update

I am using google Apps for business (no two steps authentication) and Exchange calendar stops syncing after iOS 9 update (now running on iOS 9.0.1) . It is happening both on iPad and iPhone and started after the update.

I have already tried resetting both devices (and set up as new device without restoring from iCloud backups), it works for a few hours and then it stops again. The temporary solutions of either disabling the calendar sync and re-enable it or deleting the Exchange account and setting it up again, works for only a few hours.

Does anyone else experiencing the same problem?

I received a similar message that it was being rolled out. And asked if we needed to provide a list of affected users, etc.

You do not need to provide a list as our engineers are aware of who is affected. Rest assured that the fix will be applied to all Google Apps for Work users, present and future, and not just the currently affected ones.

I also couldn't get anyone from Google or the third party escalation team to confirm the idea behind the word "rolled-out.."

I've let a couple users know, (Not to release an official statement) But to try the Calendar / Email and see how the Sync behaves.

Didn't hear back from anyone.. I guess we'll have to wait and find out (as usual)

I'm also trying to see if Google released an official statement about all this being resolved.. but did not see anything from their end vs todays "Roll-out"

If anyone has that info, please share.

Just received this From Google

This issue has been fixed.

What makes me wonder is exchange people are reporting the same issue.

So whatever Google fixes. Would not fix exchange people at all. Maybe Google found a way to fix it from their

side for Google apps users though.

I just tested and created a google web calendar entry on my pc. opened the iphone calendar app. It synced across

Then created a iphone calendar entry (make sure to pick the right calendar) and it worked.

I did notice first time back in the calendar it resynced the whole calendar.

I Hope this gets resolved. I use my phone and iPad for work. Works uses MS Exchange. I cannot have a failure in calendar, as I'm having now, or email. They pay me a stipend to assist with phone. It MUST work or I'll be forced away from Apple. Missing meetings and email is NOT acceptable. Hoping desperately for resolution!

I am having a similar issue with CEO user. He has an iPhone an iPad and has had constant calendar sync issues. There are a ton of items on his calendar (3 to 6 appointments a day). He has had an iPhone 4s and 6 (iOS 6, 7, 8.x and 9.x), iPad 2 (various IOSs, most recently 8.4.1 and 9.0.2. The

Most recently, a number of calendar items were updated on his calendar by his assistant. They updated on the server and his iPad, but not iPhone. Editing the appointments on the iPad or server updated the other devices, except the iPhone. Editing on the iPhone did not update the other devices. However, moving the events to another calendar, then moving back to the "Exchange" calendar, caused them to show up on the server, allowing them to be edited and synced.

At this time, I have set his iPad and iPhone to "FETCH" instead of "PUSH".

Question: people having intermittent sync issues, do your users have both iPad/s and iPhone/s?

I have been having the same issues. Here is what I've learned by testing on multiple phones with multiple versions of iOS.

My iPhone 6 stopped synchronizing with Exchange (mail, calendar, contacts) after the iOS 9 update - Not sure if it started with 9.0.0 or it it didn't start until 9.0.2 but it will not sync on my iPhone 6.

I have another iPhone 6 that had iOS 8.2 on it and I configured that phone for my exchange server - it synchronized immediately with no problems.

I also have an iPhone 5 that I just updated to iOS 9.0.2 and it syncs perfectly with my exchange server.

SO, it appears that this issue is specific to iPhone 6 running iOS 9.0.2

I was on the phone with Microsoft support today for an hour and the support tech didn't seem to have an previous awareness of this issue and didn't know how to solve it.

Anyone learn anything more? Any fixes known??

Thanks!
