iPhone 6S freezes after unlock

I had this problem three weeks later I bought my iPhone 6S Space Grey 64GB. I did a complete restore and I set it up as a new iPhone instead that restoring from backup. It seems working properly now.

My new iPhone 6S Plus 128 GB have the same problem, less than the other one. I delete all fingerprints and looks like the problem go away.

I think that the problem is still there, but the time to unlock with passcode is enough to problem doesn't show up.

Other thing, when my iPhone has been with iOS 9.0.2 the problem wasn't showing up.

How this is the second iPhone 6S Plus, I believe that is a problem with iOS 9.1.

I'm following several italian forum about the freeze after unlock issue and I can confirm a lot of people is experiencing it. It seems the only ones that have no issues are those who purchased an iPhone with ios 9.1 installed from factory. Can someone confirm this?

So it isnt just me. i had updated from ios 8.4 to 9.1 and started having this problem too. i shouldnt have upgraded. i had the iphone 5 and it worked perfect on ious 8.4. i held off on upgrading because usually new ios's for older phones never seem to be as good. but i decided to anyway and notice this problem right off the bat. thought it was just vecause i had an iphone 5, but you uys are having this problem with the 6 which has the faster processor, so what gives? i shoulda just stayed on ios 8.4. why did i not listen to myself.

ios 9.2 just released and installed on my iphone but...freezing after unlock is still there.

Yes, I updated an samething. Besides, I've seen a dark spot in the left side near the bottom. Very sad. How is Apple doing a iPhone like that, with so many problems? I thing that a will change to iPhone 6s. I've seen this one and apple retail store and looks like ok.

I had the same problem on a brand new iPhone 6s. After a reset and a set up as "new iPhone" (without restoring anything) the problem seems to be disappeared. It looks like a software issues. Probably, some files or settings are corrupted (in my case, this happened after that some apps updated and it seems to have been fixed after a complete reset as I never installed these apps again). I've been to an Apple store and they confirmed me that it is just a problem related to third-part apps.

Hi, everything is possible but it sounds very strange: I have iOS 9.1 on my "old" 5s with exactly the same apps installed on the 6s, but the 5s works much faster and smoothly.

who has installed the iOS 9.2?

does it solve the freezing issue? Also the status bar lagging issue too?

iOS 9.2 fixed the issue for me, but mine was also never that bad; a very short period of unresponsiveness after touch ID unlock.

Unfortunately not for me. I will ask Apple for a replacement ...

i have 6s 128 gold and iOS 9.2 not resolve issue, the lag is just 1 or 2 seconds, I have seen that is more consistent when I restored and placed as a new device when restored the backup, I have also seen that the problem starts when I download songs from Spotify (10 GB)

I give up. I will change iPhone 6s Plus to regular iPhone 6s.

I detected 3 problems in my replacement unit:

1 - Lag after unlock;

2 - Dark spot near the bottom, in left side;

3 - Headphone jack is loose;

6s has the lag problem as well jferreira.

Are you sure?

I did not see this problem on my friends iPhone 6s.
